For many people who move to an apartment in a new city, one of the biggest challenges is that the buzzer only supports local phone numbers. With Dingbot you can keep on using your cherished phone number, no matter where in the world it is from.
If you are an Airbnb manager, this also means that your guests from anywhere in the world can buzz themselves up to your suite when you add them as a Temporary Resident.
Overview
Until recently Dingbot only supported phone numbers based in Canada or the United States, but you can now use a phone number based anywhere in the world. This applies to both your own profile and temporary residents.
International phone numbers work answering the buzzer the same as any other number, provided the phone is able to receive calls while abroad.
User Experience Improvements
It is now easier to dismiss pop-ups by clicking or tapping anywhere outside of them.
For secure automatic entry the intercom now explicitly asks the visitor to enter or say the password, rather than simply saying “Hello” after attempting to buzz up.
